CAMPING

There are many campsites in and around St. Margarethen for visitors who, after their evening of open-air opera, would like to sleep under the stars.

St. Margarethen

The natural pool with the leisure centre in St. Margarethen are ideal for camping. Showers and toilets can be used at no extra charge. Camper vans can park at the large St. Margarethen sports club car park (located at the entrance to the village when arriving from Eisenstadt).

Campsites in the area

Various campsites can be found only a few kilometres away from St. Margarethen. The tourist information centres in Rust, Oggau, and Donnerskirchen are happy to help you find the ideal site for your camper van and tent.

Camping at the Festival car park is prohibited!

As the car park at the St. Margarethen Opera Festival is part of a conservation area, camping is not permitted. Thank you for your understanding!
